Guduchi is considered to be a prime rejuvenating herb; it other name is Amrita, or nectar. Amrita is known in Hindu mythology to be an elixer that imparts immortality and health, in other words, it is rejuvenating food. It is one of he best herbs for healing and rejuvenating in Ayurveda.
Modern research shows it to be a strong immunostimulant with very food anti-cytotoxic (drugs used in treating cancer) effects. The use of guduchi helps to reduce effects of these toxic cancer-fighting drugs, and with its umune-promoting qualities, could even prevent cancer. Other studies show the ability to lower blood sugar in diabetic animals. Another study shoes it to be effective in reducing rheumatic complications. Guduchi is an excellent herb to take as an immune booster and general tonic.
Dose: 1-2 grams twice per day
